Atlus to release Zoids Assault in September

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

Atlus today released new screenshots of Zoids Assault, revealing their dangerous affection for large battle mechs. Zoids Assault is set to release on September 9, 2008.

“It’s not so much the concept of gargantuan beasts of steel we like,” assured Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales. “It’s more the reoccurring dream of crushing all who cross us in said gargantuan beasts of steel that holds such overwhelming appeal. It’s a fantasy that certainly warms the heart, if not the ground upon which the fiery metal waste of our enemy rests upon.”

The Record-Setting Military Shooter Comes to Western Markets Fall 2008

Toronto, CANADA-July 24, 2008
- G4BOX Inc, a North American publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment media, released today the first screen shots and additional game feature information for its upcoming online military first-person shooter, Cross Fire. The game is coming to North America and the United Kingdom in fall 2008.

“We have been bombarded with people wanting a sneak peek at Cross Fire before it comes out this fall so we are excited to release the first screen shots and details for the game,” said Howard He, Chief Executive Officer of G4BOX. “Cross Fire is an innovative and compelling FPS and we have no doubt it will be a huge hit when it hits the market. But in the meantime people can whet their appetite with these first images.”

Cross Fire is being developed by Smilegate for the PC platform. The game boasts fast and stable multiplayer action and graphics thanks to a sophisticated game engine that runs even on low-end PCs.

With two international mercenary forces corporations at war, players assume the role of either a Black Risk mercenary or Global Risk terrorist, and join an online team that must work together to win certain objective-based scenarios. There are four modes of play in the game including Team Death Match, Exploder Match, Elimination Match and Ghost Match. Upon successful completion of these exciting and competitive modes and matches, players earn experience points and achievements which advance their character up various military ranks.

Key features of the game include:

? An all-new match-type called “Ghost Mode” where Mercenaries play
versus an invisible assailant
? Powerful and widely varying weapons
? Customizable in-game characters that can carry different equipment
and weapons
? Duffle bag system that allows players to carry more weapons
? Runs on very low system requirements

The game has proven to be a huge success in Korea where it was first launched in 2007 by Neowiz. Additional servers had to be added within one hour of the game going live due to the amount of traffic and people playing the game. In mid-March of this year, Cross Fire was the first FPS to launch its open beta in Vietnam. Within three days of the launch, the number of Cross Fire concurrent users reached 62,000 with more than 1.09 million subscribers in total.

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

EDISON, N.J., July 24, 2008 –Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced that the popular anagram game, Bananagrams, will be available August 18 as a free Facebook Application. Developed by Large Animal Games, Bananagrams ignores all the rules of traditional board games in favor of an every-player-for-themselves approach that delivers lightning-fast puzzle play guaranteed to get the mind moving and drive players “bananas.”

“Casual gaming applications have exploded on social networking sites like Facebook and Bananagrams is an ideal fit for the demographic,” said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco.” With its fast-paced action and addictive but simple gameplay, we believe this game has potential to become one of the most popular gaming applications on the site.”

The object of Bananagrams is to create as many words as quickly as possible from an initial batch of selected tiles. Unlike other turn-based games, Bananagrams has players simultaneously playing to form interconnected words. Once the tile pile is depleted, the player who is able to use all of his or her tiles first wins.

Facebook users will have the option to play alone or online against up to four or eight friends. The game will offer two single player modes – Banana Solitaire and Single Player Banana Café – in which players compete in a timed race to place letters in order to beat their own or their friends’ best times. After honing their anagramming skills in the single player modes, Facebookers will be able to compete against friends in one of two multiplayer modes – the Classic Multiplayer Game, with up to four players, or the Banana Café, where they can race against time and up to seven other players to take first place! All game modes will let players chat online during gameplay and compare their results against each other via the Bananagrams Leaderboard.

Bananagrams will be available August 18 as a free Facebook Application. After the initial launch, new features will be introduced on a regular basis. For additional information about Majesco’s exciting line of products, please visit: www.majescoentertainment.com.
