New TNA Impact! video unleashed

Today, Midway released a new gameplay video for TNA iMPACT!, the highly anticipated video game based off the fastest growing professional wrestling brand in the world and its flagship program TNA iMPACT!. The video features an epic battle between the two highest flyers in professional wrestling today, The Phenomenal AJ Styles and The Black Machismo Jay Lethal. Join Styles and Lethal as they describe their battle in the virtual ring, exchanging verbal hip-tosses throughout the match.

Developed by Midway LA, TNA iMPACT! is scheduled to ship this September for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Nintendo Wii™ and PlayStation®2.

Pixel Mine’s Fireteam Reloaded first game to receive state grant

Local developer awarded through the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program

AUSTIN, TX – August 1, 2008 – Pixel Mine, Inc. today announced that its newly released PC game Fireteam Reloaded is the first game to be awarded a grant as part of the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program. The program was part of a House Bill signed in June 2007 by Governor Rick Perry with the goal of attracting jobs and growth in Texas’ entertainment industry.

“This is an exciting time to be a part of the entertainment industry in Texas” says Pixel Mine President David Reese, a Texas native. “We have been privileged to work with several very fine local video game and film production studios in Texas and look forward to seeing what they’ll be showcasing at AGDC in August.”

Pixel Mine announced Fireteam Reloaded on September 4th 2007 at the Austin Game Developer’s Conference and successfully launched the flagship title on June 11th 2008. Gamers can play for free with the option to purchase extra maps and special in-game items for a small fee using Pixel Mine’s micro-payment transaction system. The game will be honored as the winner of the Independent Games Festival Multiplayer Action Game of the Year at the 2008 Austin Developers Conference.
