Wonderland Online: PK Strategies

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php)is a competitive and enjoyable game. Players can enjoy creating things and also enjoy the success of PK. Today, WLO will share some PK experience with all players.

SPD:

SPD is an important attribute for PK. The higher the SPD, the swifter the hit. The attack speed is very crucial for winning a PK. Players can add points to AGI to increase SPD. However, if players do so, other attribute points will not increase. Consequently, the whole attack ability will be affected.

It is a common method to equip a kind of gear to increase SPD. Killer’s Set is the best one in the game. Its attribute is ATK+90, SPD+60. Moreover, after equipping it, the socket effect will be doubled.

Also, if characters ride an advanced Wind pet with Swift Saddle, they can get an extra 1/3 SPD of the ridden pet. Generally, every PK expert has a special PK pet. The best Water Attribute pets are Sky Green Dragon, Blue Horse and Snow Wolf.

Assistant Spells:

Every attribute has its own assistant spell which plays an important part in PK. Freezing Spell, Mesmerism, Mess Spell and Terrafication can all make the opponent lose fighting ability in several bouts. Stone Wall, Revival and Water Shield can protect players themselves. Using proper assistant spells can help you a lot.

Special Skills:

Players may learn special skills for their own attributes after completing the “Melhilis’ Blessing” quest. Such special skills are also very helpful in PK.

Earth—Blockage, blocks the target’s assistant attack for 1 bout

Water— Shrink, reduces the target’s attack by 40% for 3 bouts.

Fire—Hot Fire Attack, threefold attacks the energy for 2 bouts.

Wind—Vanish, conceals yourself and turns immune to AOE spell attacks for 2 bouts.

Human Pets:

A good human pet is indispensable in a battle. Each human pet has its own attributes and special skills. If your Elin’s skills reach the highest level, it can attack three targets at a time and Niss can attack up to 6 targets. Human pets’ power can be also increased after equipping an advanced armlet. Moreover, if you equip a Friendship Brooch and an enhanced Mall weapon, their attack may be increased 800%. An opponent can be easily killed in one bout.

Restrict Opponents with Opposite Attribute:

If you meet an opponent with opposite attributes, you will have a high attack damage rate and lower miss rate, while your opponent will have a half attack and a high miss rate. This is an compulsory course of fighting. Please pay attention!

Tactics Cooperation:

Different schools have different skills, thus, it’s very important for players to work in coordination.

PayByCash President to Address the Issue of Reaching Global Markets at Austin Game Developers Conference

Monday, September 8th, 2008

PayByCash® president, Kevin Higgins, will address the Austin Game Developers Conference on the subject of expanding the markets for online games to larger global audiences. “Localization Is More Than Language” will explore the specific regional issues regarding how people around the world wish to pay for online digital content.

“Many online game developers believe that globalization means language and cultural sensitivities,” said Higgins. “But, if you are not sensitive to payment options suited to the markets you wish to reach, you have not completed your job. Many game providers view alternate payment options as simply a way to pay for online goods and services without a credit card. We will also deal with issues of regional preference and payment security, particularly in markets where credit card fraud rates are especially high.”

Higgins’ presentation will go beyond the general advantages of alternate payment methods and focus on the specific challenges game providers face in major regions of the world to expand the reach and revenues of their products. “Localization is more than Language” will be presented to on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 6.
