Myth War II Online: Animated Pet and Game Music #2

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Last time, the folks from Myth War II Online (http://mw2.igg.com/main.php) gave us an in-depth overview of leading-edge graphics techniques applied to this game’s computer graphic design. Today, they will continue to dig into the pet animation design mechanics in the game and would release two awesome game soundtracks.

Keyframe-based animated beasts:

Beasts that roam the wilderness in search of food pose a great threat to numerous gamers venturing across the rolling hills and ancient mountains. But it will be different when they become your beast friend and royal pets. You can always rely on them to watch your back in combat.

Leopard Wolf

Leopard Wolves are commonly seen throughout Rarus Continent. Their howls haunted Revive Arena long before human footprints were found there. They look ferocious but are easily tamed. Many newbies prefer their ferociousness when it comes to choosing one of their first pets. Although its growth rate isn’t conducive to speedy level development, you can take full advantage of their high agility to get the first strike in combat.

Werewolf

Werewolves take on a human form, but that’s where the resemblance ends. They are exceptionally violent and aggressive, prowling the deadly desert to stalk their prey. Most gamers will jump back in fear when confronted with them the first time because of their fearsome visage. But once they become a pet, their loyalty will be on display as they seek to protect you without fear of death. For more please visit the official pet guide at the below link:

Game Music Recommendation:

1.       http://flv.iggcn.com/mw2/mp3/Mus018.mp3

It all begins with a song. The first time you step into this world of God’s and Demons, the weeping and the laughter of the lost hours echo around sweetly. The melody lingers, rich in all its variations. The harmony of the drums, kettle drums and other percussion create a mood of optimism and a majestic spirit. Background music and the grand display of game graphics complement and finally melt into each other.

2.       http://flv.iggcn.com/mw2/mp3/Mus003.mp3

Cheerful sentimental remembrance flows from this melody as the sweet violin performance treats everyone with affection. Some may feel it’s a bit overly romantic or sweet, but most feel that it possesses a good balance of charm and soul. Even the flute passages manage to stay smooth when being incorporated into the gorgeous chord melody. The sadness of the smooth violin solo and the always cheerful flute backing them will make you wallow in sweet sorrow. Let music heal your soul.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving people. Here in the United States we celebrate this holiday, which was originally to celebrate the end of the harvest season. We would do this to give thanks for the harvest. Now, we do this to get fat and have plenty of stored energy for Black Friday. Yes, that’s right, just like everything else, we’ve commercialized it to be another shopping moment.  We, here at the gamersnewsbits.com household do celebrate as a family, and I’ve tried to teach the kids that there’s more to it than just a week off and a day where mommy cooks all day, but really, what is a harvest to kids who have never really been on a farm or even understand that food is still harvested, and doesn’t just appear magically in the grocery store. But really, do we have a “harvest season” anymore? Not really. Sorry for the commentary, all of the news is still coming in, so it’s on it’s way.

For Black Friday, keep an eye out, there’s bound to be some awesome deals, like the secret one Amazon.com had that they sent out to people to vote on, then randomly handed out virtual tickets to this morning. One, would have been the dream for me, which was a PS3 for only 199.99, with a game and movie called the “go blu-” package, but alas, I was not one of the lucky ticketed ones, so I have no chance of getting the PS3 at such an awesome price. And for you guys, that means I won’t be reviewing anything on the PS3 for a while longer! Bummer.

In the meantime, if you’re the kind of person who’s gonna go out on Friday Morning and freeze your fun parts off waiting in line, here’s a few places to check out for the ads. Warning, some may be inundated with “click here” ads. NEVER “click here”! Just look at the ads for the stores, and stay away from their claims you were randomly selected to win a llama and 200 acres in Ireland.

Dont’ Forget, Wal-Mart, Amazon.com, Best Buy and more are having sales TODAY, but are still having the best stuff on Black Friday.

Some stores are also open today, including the afore mentioned Wal-Mart and Best Buy, also Big Lots! and many others. Look at today’s newspaper for some massive ads and shopping thrown your way, and if anyone wants to sell me a PS3 cheap, let me know!!

Happy Thanksgiving all, i am thankful that you come and visit my site, and help it grow, and I hope you find what you’re looking for tomorrow.
