iDroids for iPhone release movie and screens

I don’t know a lot of about this title. I have been told by one of my iPhone-owning friends that it’s a cool title. It certainly looks like it! Judge for yourself.

Story Overview
Since the close of the First Dragon War, dragons and humans lived in peace on separate worlds – humans on their homeland, dragons exiled to a distant realm.
It was not to last.
Consumed with the desire for revenge, the Dark Dragon Elga became obsessed with the ultimate power of the Five Elements. Building an army of followers, he led a revolt that brought about the death of Vyvern the Dragon Lord and an invasion of the human world.
Split into two factions, the dragons battled mercilessly until the noble dragon Dekard allied with five human champions who took on the power of the Elements. Together they defeated Elga and would be known thereafter as the legendary Five Heroes.
One thousand years have passed since Elga was defeated and imprisoned in the labyrinth known as the Shadow Cabinet.
Now, an unlikely agent threatens to release the Dark Dragon, spreading evil’s corruption across the land. And, as before, heroes must rise to beat back the darkness.
Join the quest to vanquish the threat – explore a fantastical world rife with monsters and, challenges to overcome and adventures to discover. Choose your class, master powerful skills and grow your character into a legendary hero.

Skills & Combo System

Missile airstrikes, lethal flatulence, giant kitten heads, squeaky toy hammers and personal assault tanks. What do all these things have in common? They’re all at your disposal when battling the many enemies roaming the lands of Dragonica Online.

Dragonica Online’s skill system allows for in-depth gameplay that is easy to play but difficult to master. Adventurers begin their journey with the basic skills for their chosen class, battling monsters in order to advance to the next level and learn new, powerful skills. As players reach new levels, they earn Skill Points that can be used to acquire more advanced abilities. With plenty of choices available, players can take their time to develop truly unique characters tailored for any kind of play style.

Combining over-the-top humor and devastating power, Dragonica Online’s skill system injects fun and humor into the traditional MMO skill types. Warriors can wield huge hammers of fire or ice to smash opponents – but if extra strength is in need, they can transform their head into a giant bear’s for a strength boost. Advanced Archer classes can lob grenades of multiple types, or transform into Special Forces soldiers for extra defense powers. And any class, if powerful enough, can do away with an enemy by sending it smashing into the monitor screen!

Dragonica Online’s combo system incorporates unique opportunities for players to receive rewards through normal gameplay. With every successive hit landed on an enemy the combo meter increases and the higher the combo meter climbs the greater the experience bonus! Only by combining specialized skills will players be able to maximize their experience reward, creating exciting opportunities for combat specialists to rapidly grow their characters at their own pace.

Combining the rush of fast-paced arcade combat with the depth of an RPG, Dragonica Online’s skill and combo systems are refreshing variations on traditional online role playing combat.

Another massive Wii DLC update

Wii continues race to catch up to PS3 and 360 for Rock Band DLC content!Harmonix and MTV Games today announced 25 tracks coming this week to the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content for the Wii system, including hit songs from artists like David Bowie, The Police, The Zombies and industrial metal pioneers Ministry.

As previously announced, Wii Rock Band 2 owners will gain access this week to three tracks from Ministry, two classics from The Zombies and a single from The Cranberries. Additionally, 19 back-catalog tracks will be released for Wii in the Rock Band Music Store.

English rockers The Police have three tracks coming to the Wii Rock Band Music Store this week. “Can’t Stand Losing You” and “Roxanne” from the 1978 album, Outlandos d’Amour, and “Synchronicity II,” from The Police’s last studio album, Synchronicity, released in 1983.

Also this week, back-catalog tracks from Airbourne, Devil Driver, Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Hinder, Bad Religion, The Cult and GLaDOS will be released, as well as cover tracks as made famous by The Monkees, David Bowie and Sweet. Wii music fans can also download tracks from Harmonix’s own Bang Camaro, Count Zero and Freezepop.

The tracks from Ministry, The Zombies and The Cranberries will be released simultaneously with the weekly content update for other consoles. The remainder of the tracks comes from the back catalog of Rock Band music already released to owners of Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 system. Wii fans can expect a rollout of previously released downloadable Rock Band content until the entire back catalog of more than 680 songs is available. With the addition of these tracks, there are now 169 tracks in the Wii Rock Band Music Store.

Ministry, Cranberries join Rock Band DLC this week

Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that three tracks from industrial metal pioneers Ministry will be added to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content next week for the Xbox 360, PS3and the Wii. Also coming in next week’s lineup is music from The Cranberries and The Zombies.

Ministry played together from 1981 until 2008 and, during this time, laid the foundation for American industrial metal. The “Ministry Pack 01″ will feature “Cuz U R Next,” from The Wicked Soundtrack by Al Jourgensen, the Ministry frontman-scored soundtrack to the 2008 film, Wicked Lake, as well as “The Great Satan” and the Grammy-nominated “LiesLiesLies,” both from the band’s 2006 album Rio Grande Blood. This three pack marks Ministry’s first appearance in the Rock Band catalog.

Also making Rock Band soundtrack debuts next week are 60s English rock band, The Zombies, and Irish alternative rock band, The Cranberries. “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No,” both from The Zombies self-titled 1966 album, will be made available, as will “Linger,” from The Cranberries 1993 album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? The song was named by VH1 as one of the 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s.

The inFAMOUS Official Mini-Game Launches Exclusively to SPIL Games’ Portals

Experience Fierce Action in Official Mini-Game of Upcoming PS3 Title

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and SPIL GAMES, the world’s ultimate online game destination, today announced that the official mini-game for the upcoming title, inFAMOUS, will debut exclusively on SPIL GAMES online casual game portals from May 22-29. Playable directly in the browser window on both PC and Mac computers, the mini-game will showcase the action-adventure gameplay style featured in the hotly anticipated inFAMOUS PS3 game expected to launch in Europe in late May 2009.

In the inFAMOUS mini-game developed by Kerb, players get to extend their inFAMOUS experience through playing this free platform based 2D version of the PS3 title. The plot of the mini-game is based around the game’s main character, Cole, navigating his way to a power generator located on the roof of an abandoned precinct house in Empire City.

Players have to battle their way through gangs of iconic villains whilst solving puzzles using Cole’s agility and electrical super powers. In addition to achieving the games ultimate goal, player’s actions are constantly being monitored, providing real-time updates of how in-game decisions affect their morality.

The style in which players complete the game dictates the final scenes of the game, as well as letting players compare their own morality against players from around the EU.

Sword of the Stars series expands with Argos Naval Yard

Paradox Interactive and Kerberos Productions today announced an expansion to the critically acclaimed 4X space strategy game series Sword of the Stars.

The new expansion, Argos Naval Yard, can be combined with either the original game or any of its previous expansions and will provide players with:

· 19 new technologies, including advanced drones, over thrusters, two new satellite designs, defensive interceptor micro-missiles, and polarized plasmatics which will unlock a new weapon type
