Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One is an RPG-Adventure game set in the comic-book-meets-pulp-horror-meets-H. P. Lovecraft deranged 1920s universe of New Arcadia, delivered to gamers via accessible episodic releases. Players join Gabe and Tycho, the crime-solving team of the Startling Developments Detective Agency, to combat savage enemies and solve mysteries hidden deep in the sinister heart of New Arcadia. I was just made aware of an indie game from developer Koonsolo has been released: Mystic Mine. It’s an all ages casual game, with simple control and can be played solo or multiplayer. S2 Games has opened up the doors of Savage 2 to all players, allowing unlimited, free access to the game for the week of July 21-27. Traditionally, Savage 2 demo accounts are subject to a 5 hour restriction on play time and cannot access some of the playable characters.
