Moonlight Online: Time Adds a 4th Dimension to Graphics

Imagine the crimson brilliance of a blazing sunset fading into a foggy dusk, or a silvery crescent moon illuminating a continent that will soon be awash with the golden glow of the rising sun.

With a dynamic day-night cycle system, IGG’s Moonlight Online will allow gamers to experience these and many other memorable scenes. Using the latest technology in high dynamic range lighting (HDRR) to render breathtaking shifts in mood and environment, changes over time will add a 4th dimension to the graphics of this upcoming vampire-themed 3D MMORPG.

Time in Moonlight Online will run based on a realistic 24-hour system, but the sands of the hourglass will move more quickly than in the mundane real world. The game will have a unique interface that tells the time in the world of Moonlight Online, but will also support real-world time, allowing players to keep an eye on both clocks.

Moonlight Online’s developers are using the latest particle effects technologies to create incredibly realistic atmospheric and meteorological elements, so gamers will witness spectacular dawns, mesmerizing dusks, and the entire glorious spectrum of wonders in between.

When the sun shines its final rays into the dark world of Moonlight Online, don’t be surprised if you hear a wolf’s howl break the silence and signal the approaching twilight. Whether you heed it as a call to action or a dire warning, one thing is certain: the anticipation will send chills up your spine as you find yourself immersed in a universe full of supernatural possibilities.

Choose Your Side In The Epic Battle Between Good And Evil In UTV True Games’ Competitive New MMORPG

UTV True Games, an international publisher of multi-player online games, today announced its first internal development project, Faxion Online. The upcoming highly competitive, fully featured MMORPG allows players to become part of the classic struggle between good and evil but with a twist. To learn more about the game and register for upcoming details and special offers, visit www.FaxionOnline.com.

Unique to UTV True Games, Faxion Online will feature a full, persistent world with competitive and robust PvP play and territory control. A group of industry veterans with significant experience on titles such as Shadowbane, Ultima Online and many others are developing the title.

Territory control, an important and deep feature of the game, will sport two main factions — the forces of heaven and hell – where players will engage in grand battles to vie for control of a territory and influence on behalf of their side of the conflict. Players can expect to see a ground-breaking, competitive action game that strips away the typical experience and leveling grind observed in many MMORPG’s today.

“UTV True Games’ goal for its first internally developed product, Faxion Online, was to build a team with experience and passion for PvP MMORPG games,” said Frank Lucero, Studio Head at UTV True Games. “When I log into the game, it is increasingly evident that the team’s experience with PvP and territorial control games has paid off.”

At the time of game launch, players will be able to choose one of three fully-featured worlds that make up Faxion Online: Heaven, Hell and Limbo. Players will have a host of character-customization options as they choose their skills, abilities and progression paths. Additionally, Faxion Online puts an irreverent twist on the usually serious subjects of heaven, hell and the seven deadly sins. Faxion Online is expected to enter beta stages in late 2010.

“We are creating Faxion Online for players who seek a fast and exciting PvP experience immersed within a rich, persistent world,” said Mike Madden, Creative Director at UTV True Games. “As players of PvP MMOs themselves, the Faxion Online design team strives to preserve the depth of MMORPG play and progression while delivering the ease of entry found in today’s favorite Action/RPGs.”

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

Tales of Fantasy will commence its Closed Beta this Wednesday and one of the highlights is the introduction of the mysterious new instances.

Gathering Instance

When it comes to raw materials for making high level equipment and weapons, there is no better source than the Shen’Nong Forest instance.

The minimum level requirement for this instance is Level 35, and all the high level raw materials you’ll need to create fantastic equipment can be gathered in this instance alone . H owever, watch out for the BOSS and his various underlings, who are hell-bent on spoiling all the fun!

PK Instance

Players who are Level 30+ will qualify for the Arena – this is where you can PK as much as you like!

Players can participate as a single person, or as a team. Simply sign up with the Arena NPC in the main cities, and the system will then automatically assign all participants into matchups. Players who win in the Arena will receive special titles, and have their names listed on the Arena rankings!

The titles awarded offer a resistance to damage – the higher the rank, the better!

Defense Instance

The Dimensional Gate instance is a good chance to engage in teamwork with other players, utilizing the various strengths of the different classes to defend against wave after wave of monsters.

This instance is available to all players Level 30+. The main objective of the instance is to defend the Life Stone from destruction – by holding off 30 waves of monsters! Completing this instance rewards player with Centrifugal Stones, which can be used to exchange for Soul Crystals.

Heroes’ Instance

Vote for Your Favorite Altis Gates Server Name

Friday, February 12th, 2010

IGG’s new mystical fantasy title, Altis Gates (http://ag.igg.com), recently completed its Closed Beta and is now gearing up for the Open Beta. In preparation for the OB, the Altis Gates team has organized a naming event that will let players create and then vote for their favorite names for the Altis Gates OB Realm and Server.

After gathering and then putting all the entries through a rigorous process of elimination, the AG team has finally managed to narrow it down 8 Realm and Server names that stood out from the rest.

Now, it wouldn’t be much fun if the players weren’t able to get their two cents in, so they will be holding a vote to see what players think. The vote will start on February 12th at 12:00am EST (GMT-5) and will last until 9:00pm on February 21st to determine which name is the best. During the vote, players can cast their votes for the name of their choice. At the end of the event, creator of the Realm and Server names combination will win a cool mount. This mount will be awarded to the winners during the Open Beta itself.

The Altis Gates team always believes in working with players to take game to the next level. This is yet another opportunity where players can be directly involved in decision making process.

You can find out more about this event on the event page http://ag.igg.com/event/name/.
